I was unpacking a box last week and found this written on a sticky note. I can see why I saved it.
Love as God defines it, is not a feeling of affection for another person. Love is a choice that involves action. It means choosing to act in another’s best interest, even if we don’t feel like it or don’t know that person very well. Love should always be our highest goal.
I think this quote is from Sticky Situations, a devotional book I used to read to my first grade class.
