The HCG Diet Plan
The HCG Diet is designed to help you lose fat fast. You are probably familiar already with HCG. It’s made normally during pregnancy to facilitate the use of the mother’s fat to help the baby grow. Even if the mom doesn’t eat adequate calories, the baby will get the energy it needs to grow by utilizing the mom’s stored fat. Those early months of pregnancy, when many of us are too sick to eat enough food (or to keep any down), we may even lose weight but the baby will continue to grow into a healthy baby, due to HCG activating the body’s release of stored fat.
In the same way, HCG signals the body to release the fat to be used as energy. When there is no baby, the HCG allows you to burn stored fat. This is an over-simplification, of course, but let’s look at two types of body fat: normal fat and abnormal fat.
Normal fat is evenly distributed throughout the body. Abnormal fat is not uniformly distributed, often accumulating in ‘problem areas’ like your stomach, thighs, arms, buttocks, etc. Normally when you diet, it’s difficult to release that stored abnormal fat. Once you burn the normal fat, you get tired, weak and hungry, and you fail. This is why HCG is such a powerful tool in a diet. Very few people feel hungry or tired though they exist on a very small amount of calories and fat via the diet.
- Stay away from Mint. Fresh mint is ok, but all mint flavored things like toothpaste and gum are usually flavored with artificial mint flavoring and it can derail the success diet.
- No sugar.
- No artificial sweeteners like Aspartame or Splenda. Use Stevia.
- Avoid hair conditioner, lotion and any other ‘fats’ that you typically slather on your body. The HCG diet is very low fat, and you can sabatoge your diet with body oils and other fats. You can use coconut oil on your face and body instead (it’s amazing).
